Casa Luzzati continues its rediscovery of the Maestro Emanuele Luzzati’s work with the exhibition “Luzzati. The Paths of the Nineteenth Century.”
More than an exhibition, a narrative.
The unprecedented display develops through an educational and exhibition-based itinerary, an engaging journey aimed at exploring different aspects of Maestro Luzzati’s artistic production, contextualised within the nineteenth century and organised into thematic sections, highlighting the dialogue between his works and the literary, theatrical and musical spheres that inspired them. But not only Luzzati: on show are also drawings by Crepax, Costantini, Iliprandi, Pazienza, Rauch, and the magnificent plates by Francesco Gonin for The Betrothed. From the illustrations for the Grimm fairy tales to the stage maquettes for Rossini’s operas, from Alice in Wonderland to Pinocchio, the nineteenth century is told in a scenic and colourful way, also through experimental workshops for children and masterclasses with artists. A multidisciplinary approach in dialogue with the city of Genoa and the visitor.

The Paths of the Nineteenth Century” already invites us to embark on a journey, to move, explore, and gaze with eyes enchanted by the magic lantern of Maestro Luzzati’s colours and shapes, following the unfolding of stories and events that marked that extraordinarily fertile century of profound transformations.

Casa Luzzati is a cultural production centre, created with the aim of disseminating the art and biography of Maestro Emanuele Luzzati, rediscovering the creative freedom of his many languages. It is managed by the Lele Luzzati Foundation. The Cantiere delle Arti constitutes Casa Luzzati’s educational and training area, and develops a calendar of activities including workshops and playful-creative laboratories for schools, children and adults.

Plus qu’une exposition, un récit.
La scénographie, inédite en son genre, se déploie à travers un parcours didactique et artistique, un voyage captivant destiné à explorer différents aspects de la production d’Emanuele Luzzati, contextualisés dans le XIXe siècle et organisés par thématiques, mettant en lumière le dialogue entre ses œuvres et les domaines littéraires, théâtraux et musicaux qui les ont inspirées. Mais il n’y a pas que Luzzati : sont également exposés des dessins de Crepax, Costantini, Iliprandi, Pazienza, Rauch et les magnifiques planches de Francesco Gonin pour Les Fiancés. Des illustrations pour les contes des frères Grimm aux maquettes des opéras de Rossini, de Alice au pays des merveilles à Pinocchio, le XIXe siècle est raconté de façon scénographique et colorée, également à travers des ateliers d’expérimentation pour enfants et des workshops d’auteurs. Une approche pluridisciplinaire en dialogue avec la ville de Gênes et le visiteur.

« Luzzati. Les sentiers du XIXe siècle » invite déjà à entreprendre un chemin, à se déplacer, à explorer, à regarder avec des yeux émerveillés par la lanterne magique des couleurs et des formes de Lele Luzzati le déroulement d’histoires et d’événements qui marquèrent ce siècle extraordinairement fertile et riche en profondes transformations.

Casa Luzzati est un centre de production culturelle, né dans le but de diffuser l’art et la biographie d’Emanuele Luzzati, en redécouvrant la liberté créative de ses multiples langages. Sa gestion est confiée à la Fondation Lele Luzzati. Le Cantiere delle Arti constitue l’espace pédagogique et formatif de Casa Luzzati et développe un calendrier d’activités comprenant des ateliers et des laboratoires ludiques-créatifs pour les écoles, les enfants et les adultes.

Casa Luzzati setzt ihre Wiederentdeckung des Schaffens des Meisters mit der Ausstellung „Luzzati. Die Wege des 19. Jahrhunderts“ fort. Mehr als eine Ausstellung – eine Erzählung. Die neuartige Inszenierung entfaltet sich entlang eines didaktisch-ausstellenden Rundgangs, einer fesselnden Reise, die verschiedene Aspekte des künstlerischen Schaffens von Emanuele Luzzati erkundet, im 19. Jahrhundert verortet und nach thematischen Linien geordnet. Sie beleuchtet den Dialog zwischen seinen Arbeiten und den literarischen, theatralischen und musikalischen Bereichen, die sie inspirierten. Doch nicht nur Luzzati: Zu sehen sind auch Zeichnungen von Crepax, Costantini, Iliprandi, Pazienza, Rauch sowie die prachtvollen Tafeln von Francesco Gonin zu Die Verlobten. Von den Illustrationen zu den Märchen der Brüder Grimm über die Bühnenmodelle zu Rossinis Opern, von Alice im Wunderlandbis Pinocchio – das 19. Jahrhundert wird szenografisch und farbenreich erzählt, auch durch experimentelle Kinderworkshops und Meisterkurse. Ein multidisziplinärer Ansatz im Dialog mit der Stadt Genua und ihren Besuchern.

„Luzzati. Die Wege des 19. Jahrhunderts“ lädt bereits ein, einen Weg zu beschreiten, sich zu bewegen, zu erkunden und mit Augen, verzaubert von der Zauberlaterne der Farben und Formen von Lele Luzzati, das Entfalten von Geschichten und Ereignissen zu betrachten, die dieses außerordentlich fruchtbare und tiefgreifend verändernde Jahrhundert prägten.

Casa Luzzati ist ein Zentrum für kulturelle Produktion, das mit dem Ziel gegründet wurde, die Kunst und Biografie von Emanuele Luzzati zu verbreiten und die kreative Freiheit seiner vielfältigen Ausdrucksformen neu zu entdecken. Trägerin ist die Lele Luzzati Foundation. Das Cantiere delle Arti bildet den didaktisch-pädagogischen Bereich von Casa Luzzati und entwickelt ein Programm mit Aktivitäten, darunter Workshops und spielerisch-kreative Ateliers für Schulen, Kinder und Erwachsene.
